BorderLive
Terms of Service
Agreement
By accessing borderlive.us you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the site. Effective June 29, 2026.
BorderLive is operated by Calle Dos Agency ("we", "us"). The site is provided as-is and is intended as an informational tool for travelers crossing the U.S./Mexico and U.S./Canada borders.
Use of the service
You may use BorderLive for personal, non-commercial purposes free of charge.
You may not (a) attempt to disrupt the service, (b) submit false alert signups or other abuse, (c) scrape the public site at a rate that interferes with other users (use the documented JSON API at /api/v1/* instead, with a key when one is required), (d) impersonate another person, or (e) use the service in violation of applicable law.
Commercial use of the API requires a key. API keys are issued at our discretion and may be revoked at any time. Rate limits apply.
Data accuracy
Border wait times displayed on BorderLive originate from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) public feeds. We poll, parse, and present the data; we do not generate or guarantee the accuracy of the underlying numbers.
CBP and CBSA report wait times as estimates. Actual conditions at the border may differ. Do not rely on BorderLive as your sole source for time-critical decisions.
Historical charts, "best time to cross" suggestions, and hourly predictions are shown only when stored aggregate data is available. When aggregate data is unavailable or still rebuilding from new live observations, we do not generate substitute historical data.
Affiliate disclosure
Some links on the site (specifically Mexican auto insurance providers shown on Mexican-border port detail pages) are affiliate links. If you click and purchase, we may receive a commission. This does not change the price you pay. We only recommend products we believe are useful for our audience.
Subscription tiers
Pro and Business subscriptions are billed through Stripe on a monthly or annual basis. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Until the rebuilt account portal is live, you can manage, change, or cancel a subscription by contacting hello@calledos.agency from the email address used at checkout.
Pricing, features, and tiers are subject to change. If you need custom API access, exports, or a commercial license, contact hello@calledos.agency for manual handling.
Disclaimer of warranties
BorderLive is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will be accurate or complete.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Calle Dos Agency, BorderLive, or our affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or USD 100, whichever is greater.
Not affiliated with CBP, CBSA, or DHS
BorderLive is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the Canada Border Services Agency, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, or any other government agency.
Changes
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The effective date above will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the site after a revision constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California.
