What BorderLive is

BorderLive shows current wait times at every U.S. land port of entry on the Mexican and Canadian borders.

Where the data comes from

U.S. Customs and Border Protection and Canada Border Services Agency publish wait times in public feeds that update regularly. We fetch those feeds about every 15 minutes, validate each record with a strict schema, and show the current readings. We keep recent observations and compact hourly averages for historical guidance.

What this is not

We are not affiliated with CBP, CBSA, DHS, or any government agency. We are not a forecasting service. Current numbers are what the public source feeds report; historical guidance is shown only when stored aggregates are available.
