What BorderLive is

BorderLive shows current wait times at every U.S. land port of entry on the Mexican and Canadian borders.

Where the data comes from

U.S. Customs and Border Protection publishes wait times in an XML feed that updates roughly every five minutes. We poll the feed, validate every record with a strict schema, and store both the snapshot and the raw observation.

What this is not

We are not affiliated with CBP, DHS, or any government agency. We are not a forecasting service. The numbers are what CBP reports plus our own historical averages.
